داستان سریال

سم و گیزمو همراه با یک دزد خیابانی نوجوان به نام اِل، سفری خطرناک را در کشور چین آغاز می‌کنند و با هیولاها و ارواح مختلف روبرو می‌شوند و گاهی با آن‌ها می‌جنگند. در این میان آن‌ها تلاش می‌کنند تا گیزمو را به خانواده‌اش بازگردانده و یک گنج افسانه‌ای را نیز پیدا کنند اما…
